The School has enjoyed the services of Malcolm Tysoe for over twenty years.
Malcolm is a leading expert in providing help and advice on instrument care and how to improve sound quality, as well as carrying out repairs to cellos and bows.
Malcolm uses his vast experience and contacts to source instruments which meet the individual needs of each player. He is also happy to provide bows, strings and cases.

Pianists:
For almost two decades, the Rafael Olbrich School of Cello has benefited greatly from the very special musical partnership with our two Pianists in Residence: Saku Walker and Neus Guiu.
Both Saku and Neus accompany our students during their performances at concerts, festivals, courses and ABRSM exams as well as supporting them with aural and theory tests. Their professionalism, patience and moral support is of immense value to the School.
